Performing with Lost Nomads.

What a great weekend! This was my 4th year participating in the festival and I always have so much fun. I did my Bellydance Demo had a good size crowd both days. The Festival was very busy and there was so much to see. After I was done, I looked at all the amazing booths and visited my friend in “Poland”. I met him filming the International Festival commercial. At 3pm the Lost Nomads performed and I got to dance a bit again and ended up teaching more kids bellydance. They were great.

The 12th Anniversary bash for the Raleigh Drum Circle was a blast! The format was better than ever and allowed alot more open dancing this year with some performance mixed in between! There were great raffle prizes, bellydance, and even fire dance. A big Thanks to Andrew Shakinovsky and Mara Cohen from the Lost Nomads for providing me with Middle Eastern Rhythms to dance too, Greg Whitt for letting me share my art again.
I am so excited to announce I am working with several other awesome dancers on a DVD project that is being produced by Aela Badiana Productions. All of the music is showcasing a wonderful local musician (and my husband) Afrit Temple. Last week we traveled to VA for the filming and photos. It is going to be amazing!! He is now working on a new CD that will actually include some songs I have already performed too. It is going to be great!! It was so hot and Norfolk set a new record high that day.
