We had a blast this past weekend at Festival of Legends. We set up on Friday morning, the weather was perfect. By Saturday, the clouds and rain moved it. It rained ALL day. Seriously!! and it was chilly too. We performed on the Main Stage in the morning and the Fable Pavilion in the afternoon. (Def. harder dancing on the uneven wet ground). It continued to rain into Sunday morning, which was even colder, about 47 degrees. The stage was pretty slippery and wet Sunday morning but I managed to dance and do my sword dance without any mishaps. We had alot of fun and can’t wait until next year!!

What a way to start the weekend. I had to get up early (6 am) to get ready in time for an 8 am shoot at Duke Gardens in Durham. It was so worth it. So many beautiful spots, we had a great time.

This was my first time performing down with all the Charlotte, NC area dancers and it was so much fun. Very supportive, friendly, and welcoming group. These are some of the best Middle Eastern musicians in NC!! Love them. We had a HUGE turnout this month. What a fabulous night. Several photographers were there taking photos and am so thankful they captured the moments beautifully! Photos by Kolaya Photography Photos by Josh Edwards
