Been working on a group dance with some fabulous dancers, most with whom I have never performed with. This dance was choreographed by Jillina. Will be doing more collaborations in the future.

Pagan Pride Raleigh 2015

Had a wonderful time yesterday at Pagan Pride Raleigh at the NC State Fairgrounds. This was my first time there as an official performer. I have gone several years to dance at the Drum Circle. I performed with Afrit Temple (which is my husband) and guest musicians, Brian Beaman and Andy Ruckert. The music was fantastic and I did sword and fanveils. We have already been invited back for next year :) This was our first big collaborative project for music and dance together with the Hurdy Gurdy and it was a big success. Cannot wait to do more events like this.

Bellyblast Photo shoot

My friend Jessica Hannan Sultan, just opened her Bellyblast studio and she invited me to be part of her promotional photo shoot. It was so much fun and I got to try out her new creation ' the loom ' and it is awesome. Bellyblast is a combination of Bellydance, Pilates, and Aerobics!

Arabian Nights Hafla -Fort Mill, SC

It has been non stop since Friday night, which was Final Friday with Rhythmicity. Saturday, I took a fabulous Metal Choreography at World in Motion, and Sunday we headed down to Fort Mill, SC for a hafla. It was so much fun and the best live Middle Eastern musicians around!!! I was extra lucky because I got to hang out with them all day during their practice!!! I did a double wings dance to 'Summer' off Andrew's latest CD.
